About Cue Box Circles

Personal growth rarely happens in isolation. Cue Box Circles bring together a small group of people who commit to show up, honestly and consistently, for their own development and for each other’s.

In a Cue Box Circle, each person works through the questions on The Cue Box for Insight while others listen without commenting or giving advice. The Circle format creates conditions that are rarely available elsewhere: sustained attention, genuine witness, and freedom from unsolicited advice. The result is a quality of thinking and depth of self-recognition that most people do not access on their own.

Using The Cue Box for Insight in a supportive group has many powerful benefits. Each person has:

  • A safe space to think out loud, tell the truth, explore feelings, build trust and confidence, and be heard without fear of negative reactions.
  • Structured time to address significant issues, find authentic answers, work at their own pace, be heard without interruption, learn from the work of others, share life’s ups and downs, and be part of a community of support.
  • The opportunity to explore habitual thoughts and feelings, identify what has genuine personal meaning, gain insight and awareness, shift from ineffective behaviors, create action plans, and ask for support when helpful.

How Circles Work

Circles consist of up to eight members and usually meet monthly. Each session opens with a structured check-in from every participant. Each member then has an opportunity to work individually with The Cue Box for Insight for approximately fifteen minutes. Facilitation, timekeeping, and note-taking responsibilities are shared among members.

All Cue Box Circle members commit to full confidentiality and to holding one another in positive regard.

The practice of being fully witnessed, without interruption or judgment, creates something rare and valuable: a space where it is genuinely safe to think out loud.

What People Say About Cue Box Circles

You have to do your own work, but you don’t have to do it alone!

Everything said in the Circle stays in the Circle.

I am uplifted by the work of others.

Invariably, one person’s work with The Cue Box benefits everyone.

Realizing I’m not alone, I’m not wrong or weird. Realizing how much we’re alike. “Your work is my work.”

The group is a safe place to be myself and look deeply at hard things.

When you’re in the Circle, The Cue Box pulls you to look and speak extremely deeply and honestly. You allow yourself to say things, and feel things, and believe things, that might have been blocking. The Box tricks you into finding extra pieces of yourself and see things in a new way. And the group around you creates safety and a sacred space to do scary, transformative work you might not otherwise do.

We remember trauma that we wouldn’t have share with other people – that we could share with our group, and move through it.

I would not be who I am or where I am without my Cue Box Circle.
